Melissa Haendel is one of the authors on the “On the reproducibility of science: unique identification of research resources in the biomedical literature” article which we published yesterday. This important article received quite a bit of attention when it published.

Dr Haendel is an assistant professor in the Oregon Health & Science Library and Dept. of Medical Informatics and Epidemiology. She has a Ph.D. and post-doctoral work in neuroscience, where she studied early development in mouse, chick, and zebrafish.
