Took a picture of this because it looks really science-y…

In reality, my post doc and I just needed to bubble off some chloroform  from our samples with some inert helium so it doesn’t fuck with our various ion readings. 

Then my post doc preceded to make a failed glove balloon, chicken’d out from breathing in some helium, talked about the movie Tangled with me, and took a similar picture as above with his own phone because he said it was the most scientific looking thing he did all week. 

I love my research lab. <3
