Regular students in GEOG/SIS 123 should feel free to use these links and resources to prepare themselves for the midterm exam. Ten of the questions on this exam will test your knowledge of the place names mentioned in Dreams From My Father. You will need to know how to locate any place mentioned in the text on a map of the related region. In this respect, the top entries in each of the Links and Resources boxes below contain maps of value.

In addition to the midterm preparation, Honors students should use this page to approach answering just 1 of 3 essay questions posed here. The answers can be anywhere between 5 and 15 pages long, double-spaced, 12 point Times-Roman, with your name and student number on the top of each page. Providing this essay answer to your TA before the Final Exam will ensure you Honors credit for the class. The essay can take any form you want and use any materials whatsoever, but it must offer an academically robust answer to one of the following 3 questions listed below. Please be sure to use the question as the title for your essay answer.
