Written Work Required:

• Term paper, 10-12 pages (double-spaced and numbered). Due Thursday, March 13, 2008.
• The topic is optional, but must concern a text or issue discussed in this class.
• For those taking the course for optional W-credit (writing), I must receive a preliminary piece of writing not later than Thursday, February 21. This should be in the form of an outline, abstract, proposal, or preliminary draft of the term paper.
