GRADES: Your grade will be decided with a simple formula: Laboratory: 100 pts Three Midquarters: 270 pts (90 pts each) Short Paper 30 pts TOTAL 400 pts NOTE: THE EXAMS ARE NOT COMPREHENSIVE The exams will be multiple-choice type with some fill-in type (write a sentence – draw a sketch) too. Honor System Many classes here on campus devise elaborate schemes to prevent exam-taking "misbehavior" (aka cheating). Instead, we have chosen to trust our students and assume that all are trustworthy (amazingly naive, aren't we?). In this class, students pledge to do their own work on assignments and exams.
