Currently we have two main projects in the lab. One is focused on understanding the mechanism of cell death in cones lacking the phosphodiesterase Pde6c. The second project exploits a zebrafish synaptojanin mutant, nrc, to dissect phosphoinositide signaling strategies in cones (see projects page for more information).
