Vector: Follistatin was cloned by Cheng-Jung Lai by PCR, and directionally cloned into T7Ts at Bgl II and Spe I sites.
Primers used in PCR cloning, based on Ali's published data, are:
1) forward: 5' GAA GAT CTC CCA GCA CTG AGG ATG 3'
2) backward: 5' GGA CTA GTC ACT TAC AGT TGC AAG ATC C 3'
For synthesizing mRNA for injection: Linearize with Xba I and transcribe
with T7.
For antisense probes: Linearize with Bgl II and transcribe with SP6.
