mFz8 full-length cDNA (2.2 kb), with engineered optimal kozak sequence and EcoRI site at the 5' end, was excised from pJM74 with EcoRI + HincII, and ligated to EcoRI/SmaI-cut pRK5 (both SmaI and HincII were lost).
