The Watertown also offers a DSL connection, a fitness room, and loaner bicycles.

Please make sure that you mention the “Early Modern Philosophy Seminar” Room block when making reservations. You will be responsible for payment yourself. It is very important to book early.  The room block will be released on Monday, January 14th. So please make your reservations well before then!

Both hotels are within easy walking distance (10 minutes or less) of the campus as well as to stores and restaurants in the U-District. It is an easy trip (by car or bus) downtown and to other tourist sites in Seattle. (See the hotel websites for more information.) The Watertown is a new hotel and very nice. The University Inn is right nearby and also quite comfortable.

The nearest airport is Sea-Tac International, about 18 miles south of the University. Transportation to the University District is provided by several shuttle companies at the airport. Rental cars are also available. More information is available at their website: www.portseattle.org/seatac/.
