Additional Resources for Poverty and Inequality Research Papers

Here are some web-based resources for the research papers.

Library Research

Databases are good ways to locate specific research articles on your topic.  Note that these may not be available off-campus without downloading proxy server.

Start at the UW Library's reference database home page

Some common subject-area data bases are the Social Services Abstracts , the Sociological Abstracts and the Econ Literature database.

Once you have identified a journal article, check the UW catalog to find out where the journal is located.  Many journals are now available on-line as well.

Finally, don’t forget the old stand-by—do a keyword search for library books on your topic.
