Lecture Notes
These notes are
intended to aid your notetaking in class. Some of the definitions
are written out for you, but a great deal of the material will require
active listening and additional notetaking. The intention here is
to prevent so much writing that you don't have time to listen, yet
provide enough writing so that you can stay focused and not drift away
:-) The topics are presented in order with the first lecture
listed right below. These are PowerPoint files which can be
viewed, saved and/or printed for your use from any computer lab on
campus. If you are not familiar with PowerPoint, there is a short
introduction here
provided by CSSCR. If you don't have access to
PowerPoint from your personal computer and prefer to access the notes
from that location, one option is to download FREE PowerPoint viewer
software. This allows you to see and print PowerPoint files, but
does not allow
you to create your own PowerPoint slides. To go to Microsoft's
website
of downloadable software, click
here. You can also go straight to the PowerPoint
viewer.
It didn't work for me the first time I tried it, but might for
you (click
here).
