Neuromuscular Physiology and Pharmacology Teaching Block

R2 teaching blocks at HMC will include the following:

Respiratory Block (Block head: Dr. L. Lollo)

Neuromuscular Block (Block head: Dr R Ramaiah)

Regional Anesthesia Block (Block head: Dr. S. Bhananker)

Assignment to one of the blocks will be made at the beginning of the month (rotation). The residents will be expected to do a pre-test within the first week of starting the rotation. Residents must maintain topic cards and should get various topics "signed off" each day. Completed topic cards should be handed over to the respective block heads listed above (in person or put these in the mail box folder in the library). In the final week of rotation, residents should take a post-test.

Neuromuscular blockade Teaching Block is part of the structured teaching curriculum for Anesthesiology residents witihn the University of Washington.
