Add Codes and Wait Lists
I am always flattered when students are interested in taking one of my courses. However, there are often constraints on how many students can be admitted, both physical constraints (numbers of seats, numbers of computers) and organizational constraints (majors given priority). The registrar's office has a procedure for managing these constraints and I have decided not to circumvent the process by overloading classes or managing add codes and wait lists. If you want to join the class but cannot register before hand, consider coming to the first class and if another student drops you may be able to add the class.
