CALENDAR OF EVENTS

FALL SEMESTER 2012
(Tentative: arrival, departure and class timetable may shift 1 week earlier.)

 

Aug. 27 (Mon.)

Fly to Spain. Arrival in Cádiz Aug. 28 (Tues.). A program bus will be at the Jerez airport at 5:00 pm Tuesday to transport students to Cádiz.

 

Aug. 29-Sept. 11

Orientation Program in Cádiz.

 

Sept. 12 (Wed.)

Classes begin at Univ. of Cádiz.

 

Dec. 6 (Thurs.) & 8

Holiday (no classes).

 

Dec. 14 (Fri.)

Last day of classes. (Final Exams: 17-18 Dec.).

 

Dec. 19 (Wed.)

End of 1st semester. A group bus to the Jerez airport will be available to all (leaving Dec. 19, early AM from Cádiz). Students will make the remainder of their travel plans on their own. No departures before the 19th. Details in Program Activities Calendar.

   

SPRING SEMESTER 2013  (Tentative)

 

Jan. 11 (Fri.)

Fly to Spain. Arrival in Cádiz Jan. 12 (Sat.). A program bus will be at the Jerez airport at 5:00 pm Saturday to transport students to Cádiz.

 

Jan. 13-27

Orientation Program in Cádiz for new students.

 

Jan. 28 (Mon.)

Classes begin at Univ. of Cádiz.

 

Feb. 9-17

Carnival vacation

 

March 23-31

Easter vacation (Semana Santa).

 

May 24 (Frid.)

Last day of classes (Final Exams May 27-29)

 

May 30 (Thurs.)

End of 2nd semester. A group bus to the Jerez airport will be available to all (leaving May 30, early AM from Cádiz). Students will make the remainder of their travel plans on their own. No departures from Cádiz allowed before May 30. Details in Program Activities Calendar.
