As good an excuse as any
Time for a Party. Maya, Genoveva and Katie
B. took charge, planned it all out, made the food and drinks, served it
and the rest of us just consumed! It was all fantastic, especially
(to my mind) the (really picante) artichoke dip and of course the
daquiris, margaritas and piña coladas (there's a lot of coconut milk left!)
They promised to clean up (and did).
Why is it we always seem to gravitate to the kitchen? Nothing short of a miracle
that the girls got it all together in my kitchen (sans oven, one plug). Margaritas,
strawberry daquiris and piña coladas were the order of the night as far as liquid refreshments go.

No shortage of 7-layer bean dip. Just about all the chairs in my apt. are occupied by
these six, who weren't inclined to give up their privledged spot.

Yes, Kyle's pointing to what's left of my carnaval costume (which includes both
the coke bottle and the dog poop, along with sundry wrappers, beer cans, broken plastic glasses,
construction barriers, etc.).
