We are always looking for highly motivated graduate students, post-docs, and undergraduates who are interested in the synthesis, modelling, and integration of nanoscale optoelectronic materials for applications in nanomedicine, information technology, and renewable energy sectors.
GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANTS:
Currently there are openings for two graduate students research assistants: one for optomechanical characterization of photothermal theranostics and one for the dielectrophoretic patterning inorganic nanomaterials for energy applications. Interested prospective graduate students should contact Prof. Pauzauskie directly via email at “peterpz/at/uw/dot/edu”. Please include “Pauzauskie lab graduate opening” in the subject of your e-mail.
POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE:
Applications for one postdoctoral researcher are currently being accepted. Candidates are sought with experience with (1) optical trapping/laser tweezers, (2) optical spectroscopy, or (3) the synthesis and characterization of materials for nanomedicine.
Interested applicants should send a CV and a brief description of your research and career goals directly to Dr. Pauzauskie by email at “peterpz/at/uw/dot/edu”. Please include at least 2 professional references and “Pauzauskie lab post-doc opening” in the subject heading of your e-mail.
UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANTS:
Highly motivated undergraduate students interested in materials synthesis, instrument design/construction, or computer programming in Labview/MATLAB/Python/C++/Fortran/Java are strongly encouraged to inquire for positions via email.
