Abstract
The topic I have selected is "Current Status of Underrepresented Minorities in Medical School." Issues and data related to the recruitment, retention, and professional development of underrepresented minorites in medical school will be presented. The importance of increased representation in the medical profession and academic medicine will be discussed. Possible solutions will also be discussed.
