Abstract
The topic I have selected is "Current Status of Underrepresented
Minorities in Medical School." Issues and data related to the
recruitment, retention, and professional development of underrepresented
minorites in medical school will be presented. The importance of
increased representation in the medical profession and academic medicine
will be discussed. Possible solutions will also be discussed.
