Bio
I am a postdoc at the University of Washington School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences. My research focuses on the management and ecology of fish and invertebrates in marine, estuarine, and freshwater environments.  Topics include animal movement, predator-prey interactions, spatial statistics, and fisheries management  (see Research).

I grew up in Callicoon, NY and received a Bachelor's degree in Biology & Society (1998) from Cornell University and a MSc in Marine, Estuarine, and Environmental Science (2004) from the University of Maryland. I was a Dean John. A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellow at the NOAA Biogeography program before coming to Wisconsin, where I received my Ph.D. in Limnology and Marine Science (2007).

My research is funded through the Society for Conservation Biology's David H. Smith Conservation Research Fellowship Program
