Niquette Kelcher has been involved in online content development for over eight years as an editor, writer and producer for SmartPros Ltd., a New York-based educational firm that has roots in the Seattle dot-com scene. Niquette teaches MS Word for Editors and The Web-Savvy Editor for the Editing Certificate program through University of Washington Extension, of which she herself is a 2004 graduate. She is the author of Technology for Editors, a blog with "tips and tidbits for onscreen and online writing." Niquette has a degree in English/Education from Western Washington University and is a member of the Northwest Independent Editors Guild. She is a lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest and currently lives in the Puget Sound with her husband and two young sons. She enjoys (most of) her manic mommy moments.
