| The winter of 2008-2009 has arrived a little late in the Cascades but is here in full force now. The snow that has fallen has been cold and dry so our base layers this year are going to be a bit unstable. Take the time to do your beacon practice and keep your eye on local avalanche forecasts.
Feel free to submit new photos
for our photo section to show off your turns and your artistry there. Tele
videos are available on my updated backcountry skiing website- Dr. Telemark's Backcountry and Telemark
Skiing Site.
