I work as an Acting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Univeristy of Washington with Prof. Gunther Uhlmann. My main area of research are inverse problems and imaging. I have worked on stability and reconstruction of inverse problems related to hyperbolic boundary value problems, medical imaging and visual perception. I got my PhD. in Mathematics at Purdue University under Prof. Plamen Stefanov.
- I am currently working on stability problems for Hybrid Inverse Problems with applications to medical imaging. In particular, the imaging modalities Photoacoustic/Thermoacoustic Tomography (PAT/TAT) and Current Density Impedance Imaging (CDII).
- I also worked at the Computer Vision and Visualization Lab at Purdue University on a project about improving visual perception. Our work in image perception was used as a basis to launch the start up company CPrecisely
