201 healthy infants 4-10mo attending day care randomized to plain formula vs. formula supplemented with Lactobacillus reuteri x 12wks; Lactobacillus subjects had sig. fewer days with fever or diarrhea, sig. fewer episodes of fever or diarrhea, and sig. fewer antibiotic prescriptions (Peds. 115:5, 2005--JW)
