I. Often autosomal dominant

II. MEN I: Parathyroid, Pancreatic islets, Pituitary

1. 40% present with peptic ulcer (gastrinoma)
2. 30% present with hypoglycemia (insulinoma)
3. Parathyroid hyperplasia occurs 2? to a circulating growth factor

III. MEN II: Pheo, Medull. thyr. Ca, Parathyroid hyperplasia

IV. MEN III: Pheo, Medull. thyr. Ca, others (e.g. neuromas)
