MULTIFOCAL ATRIAL TACHYCARDIA
- An irregular rhythm, 100-200/min, with varying PR
interval and p-wave morphology
- If it's slower than 100/min referred to as
"Wandering Atrial Pacemaker"
- May be accompanied by AV block
- May occur with any serious illness, especially COPD;
rarely, due to dig toxicity
- Doesn't cause significant consequences except those due
to tachycardia
- Responds to Dig, verapamil to lower HR
