MULTIFOCAL ATRIAL TACHYCARDIA


  1. An irregular rhythm, 100-200/min, with varying PR interval and p-wave morphology
  2. If it's slower than 100/min referred to as "Wandering Atrial Pacemaker"
  3. May be accompanied by AV block
  4. May occur with any serious illness, especially COPD; rarely, due to dig toxicity
  5. Doesn't cause significant consequences except those due to tachycardia
  6. Responds to Dig, verapamil to lower HR
