- Surgical excision
- For patienst with limited disease, endoscopic mucosal resectino may
be an option though data is still limited as of 2009.
- Postop chemo (5-FU & leucovorin) + XRT ass'd with
sig. longer disease-free survival (30mo vs. 19mo) and
overall survival (36mo vs. 27mo) over median 5y f/u (NEJM
345:725, 2001--JW)
- Treatment of Helicobacter pylori Infection
may reduce rate of progression of gastric histologic abnormalities (click
