Scaly, pink papules commonly found on sun-exposed areas of the skin, particularly in fair-skinned, elderly individuals, male > female

Related to UV radiation exposure

> 80% occur on sun-exposed areas, e.g. face, scalp, neck, hands, forearms

May progress on to Squamous Cell Carcinoma (est'd risk 0.25%-1%/yr--Med. Lett. 44:57, 2002) and also melanoma and basal cell carcinoma; 25% regress spontaneously
