• Study Guides: Use these these questions as your notetaking guide when reading. The questions will help you focus on issues that will be useful to apply to your weekly postings. Also, these questions will be used on the final exam to assess your command of the reading material. When taking notes, use exact quotes minimally; instead, paraphrase the readings. This allows you to put the readings into your own words which tests your comprehension. Read your notes back: can you understand what you've just written? That's a pretty good starting point.
