Bio:
Apurva Mishra holds a BTech degree from IIT Bombay (1998), an MS from Boston University (2000), and a PhD from the University of Washington (2011). He worked at Intel from 2000 to 2005 as a design engineer on the Pentium 4 CPU design team.

His research interests focus on integrated circuit design, particularly low-power and mixed-signal circuits, chips for acquiring neural signals from the brain, and circuits at the human-computer interface.

He is passionate about teaching and writing, and currently teaches courses on VLSI design and computer architecture at UW.
