Language Lab (Language Learning Center) Information

In order to do Laboratory Manual in Workbook, you will need audio-tapes from Language Learning Center. You may listen to tapes in Audio Lab, get personal copies of audio-tapes, or purchase a set of pre-recorded tapes.

Audio/Computing Lab Hours:

M-Th 8 am – 8 pm

Fri 8 am – 4 pm

Sat Closed

Sun 5 pm – 8 pm

Sales Office Hours:

M-Th 9 am – 5 pm

Fri 9 am – 4 pm

Duplicate tapes

To get personal copies of audio tapes (if appropriate copyright authority exists), bring blank 60-minute, normal bias audio cassette tapes to the Audio Lab. Tapes are usually duplicated and ready to be picked up by the following day.

Acceptable brands:

BASF Denon

Fuji Maxell

Radio Shack Scotch

Sony TDK

LLC tapes (from the Sales Office)

Note: Tape duplication is free to UW students, faculty, and staff; others pay just $1 per tape. At the beginning of each term, the LLC can accept just one tape per person, per day.
