My research focuses on creating and deploying AI algorithms in healthcare and medicine, with an emphasis on ensuring these systems are explainable, robust, ethical, and fair. I also work on scaling digital twins for hospital patient flow, using simulation modeling to enhance machine learning models and vice versa. Additionally, I am interested in the use of AI in grief tech to simulate the deceased.
