Project Snowblind comes to us from the makes of Deus Ex: Invisible War. And where I was not impressed with the previous game due to the horrible framerate, I was pleasantly surprised with Project Snowblind. For one, the developers have fixed the previously mentioned framerate and the game runs nice and smoothly through the craziest of firefights and situations.

The game employs some of the same ideas of that were introduced in the Deus Ex series. Namely, you play as a bio-modified soldier fighting against an invading army. You can use your enhancements to perform a variety of functions such as slowing down time, improving your vision to see enemies through walls, and throwing electricity. In addition to this, you have a ton of neat weapons to use as your heart desires. The only quip I have about this system is that you can somehow manage to carry 12 weapons and tons of other gadgets with you at all times. I found myself only using a handful of the tools given to me because there were simply too many weapons to choose from. I seem to like the Halo system where you can only choose two guns at a time.

The game does a great job of putting you in tons of different situations and scenarios. You'll be doing everything including sneaking through bases, hijacking mechs, driving cars, and participating in all out squad firefights. The best thing about this game is that it never really gets old and is simply fun to play. I would recommend this to almost anyone.
