Man, I don't know what happened, but this is definitely not as fun as the original Metal Gear Solid. The game just doesn't feel as cohesive as the previous game (which I consider as one of the greatest games of all time). I don't really like this game for several reasons. It seems like the game doesn't really take itself seriously, I mean, one of the bosses is a big fat man (who happens to be called Fatman) who gets around on roller skates (like this). This makes no sense to me and in fact, just makes me want to laugh. My advice would be to save you money and buy the original Metal Gear Solid for PS1, I'm sure you'll have more fun.
This is one of the games that I bought when Software Etc. was having a buy 2 get 1 free deal. I kind of went overboard and bought 9 games, this being one of them. On the plus side, I only averaged about $4.33 per game, not to shabby.
