As you probably already know, Half-life is a port from the classic PC FPS that has been touted as one of the greatest games of all time. I must say that this is a very good game overall, but probably won't be winning any awards on the PS2 due to the age of the original game. This game definitely looks a little bit dated in terms of graphics. However, the gameplay is king and it is an absolute blast to play. The only complaint is that the aiming is extremely twitchy and doesn't work too well. I can see why so many people prefer a mouse and keyboard to play a game like this instead of a controller. However, the story and the game are overall very fun to play and I would recommend this title to pretty much anyone.
This is one of the games that I bought when Software Etc. was having a buy 2 get 1 free deal. I kind of went overboard and bought 9 games, this being one of them. On the plus side, I only averaged about $4.33 per game, not to shabby.
