What the eff happened?!? Why does this game suck so much?! The first Guitar Hero was so much fun to play and I couldn’t put it down but with this iteration of the series, I found myself having next to no fun at all.
After much thinking, I’ve discovered what is wrong with this game…the songs absolutely suck! I can’t tell you how many stupid “rock” songs that were somehow included in the game. There are literally two songs that I like on this disc, the rest are complete crap. I was forced to play through this crap because I was hoping that I would unlock a good song, but that good song just never came.
The game does make some improvements over the original game in terms of features. You’re now given a practice mode and the hammer-ons and pull-offs are much easier and forgiving in this game. However, this doesn’t excuse the totally lame sound track. My brother recently erased my save data and I don’t think I’ll subject my ears to the crappy songs to try and get it back.
