Ah Mario 64, this was the classic N64 game and one of the best of the system. It seems that currently, this is also the best game available for the Nintendo DS. This is pretty much a classic recreation of the N64 game with a few twists. For example, you can now play as 4 characters instead of just one. Also, there are more stars to collect and even hidden rabbits to search for to unlock minigames that are played with the stylus.
Since the Nintendo DS doesn't have an analog stick, the designers have opted to use the thumb-button on the touch screen as the analog input. This works amazingly well and once I got used to the controls, I loved it.
This game has all the thrills and excitement of the original game with even more content; I would recommend this game to any Nintendo DS owner.
We got this for Jon as a graduation gift. This game came free with a purchase of a Nintendo DS.
