This was a very competent turn based strategy game on the Nintendo DS. The formula follows the same scheme that Advance Wars uses. However it adds an additional layer of strategy by requiring you to research new technology and units. It seems that there are a lot more options of units and buildings available to the player in this game. It was genuinely fun to play and there were a lot of times were I had to spend a good amount of time planning what moves I could use to maximize my reward.
The only drawbacks were the somewhat buggy AI and glitches in general. These problems are so severe as to create a major problem, but they were noticeable.
In general, this was a pretty fun game which kept me entertained for quite a while.
