This is a worthy sequel to like Prince of Persia. Once again, this game involves the Prince performing some of the greatest platforming in modern gaming in order to save himself from certain doom. This game feels distinctly darker than the previous game and it focuses more on the combat and fighting. There are significantly more enemies and even different weapons that you can pick up during your adventures. The dagger of time and its ability to manipulate time makes an appearance again.
At times, it is easy for the player to become lost in the giant island where the game takes place. Objectives are vague and how to proceed to the next point is not always clear. Luckily, there’s the internet where you can download walkthroughs.
I would have given this game an even higher rating if it weren’t for this one major glitch which I encountered. Namely, I was just about to fight the final boss and I saved. But when I got out of the save screen, the door to progress wouldn’t open! I was stuck in this one room right before the final boss and the stupid door was glitched shut. Stupid game!
