Theresa Dowell to Jeffery Blackinton (July 30, 2005)

Here's a short online album of Jeff and Theresa's wedding that I put together showing some of the photos that I took. Please keep in mind that these are compressed photos and the quality has been somewhat compromised. Please contact me at lum@u.washington.edu if you would like copies of the original photos (1280x960 pixels) and I'll send you a CD-ROM with the photos.

Wedding Rehersal

Here's kicking off the grand old 4 day southern wedding. The rehersal was on Thursday at the beautiful locust grove.

Rehersal Dinner

Following the wedding rehersal, the rehersal dinner was held at Ramsi's cafe in what I was told was the old historic part of downtown Louisville. The food was excellent and everyone had a great time telling stories and roasting Jeff and Theresa.

Pool Party

The next day (Friday), Theresa's parents hosted a great pool party for everyone. They had swimming, bean bag tossing, and some of the best barbeque I've ever tasted. It was a great way to relax and talk with all wedding-goers.

Baseball Game

In case you didn't know, Jeff is an amazing baseball player and to celebrate his love for the sport, they took us all to a Louisville Bats baseball game. It was really cool because a foul ball even came into our section. Everybody signed it and it was a cool gift for the bride and groom.

The Wedding

Finally we arrive at the wedding day. The weather was warm and sunny, a little hot for us Seattlites, but nobody seemed to really care.

The Reception

After the beautiful ceremony, there was plenty of time to eat drink and be merry at the reception. It was a beautiful outdoor reception under a big tent. Everything went perfectly and everyone seemed to have a really good time. They even played AC/DC twice in one night.
