1. The first bike I ever had was this red BMX bike. The frame was
way too big for me so instead of feeling like an agile BMX bike,
it felt like a heavy mountain bike with only one speed. It was
a pretty robust bike though and it got passed down to both my
younger brothers. Here's a picture of Tim with the red BMX bike.

2. Next, for some crazy reason, I got a Huffy Shockwave. My friend
called it "Old Ironsides", probably because it weighed
as much as an armored ship. That bike really sucked...so I gave
it to Jon! Hahahahaha!

3. One day, we were shopping at Costco and were shocked to see that
they also carried bikes! They actually looked pretty cool, so
my Dad and I actually bought two of them, one for him and one
for me. They were 1991 Skykomish Marble Point bikes. I actually
rode mine from 5th grade until the end of Freshman year in college.
I basically rode it to the ground. The bike was so thrashed after
my freshman year that you couldn't even salvage any parts off
it.

5. After my Skykomish Marble Point broke, I took my Dad's and rode that
for the remainder of my undergraduate college life.

So after 15 years of junky bikes, I just bought the sweetest bike in July
2003. This bike definately gets at least a 9/10 for begin super gnarly.
Its a 1999 K2 Flying Monkey. The best part about this bike is that MSRP
on it is $1900.00, but I picked it up for only $400! Its a sweet ride
at that price.
