Head, Information Services
1999 - present

Manage the Library's Information Desk, which serves as the primary point of contact for in-person, phone and email assistance. Coordinate and train 28 staff members who staff the Information Desk, develop policies and procedures, and supervise core desk staff who provide the backbone of service evenings and weekends.

Information Management Librarian
1995 - 1999

Served as the liaison to the basic sciences departments, including library instruction, orientation, selection and other related-activities. Coordinated the Library's reference collection, together with Janet Schnall; responsible for selection, weeding and maintaining reference collection policies.

Information Services and Education Librarian
1992 - 1995

Coordinated the Information Management Education (IME) program, which involved scheduling Library's instruction, developing new courses and evaluation and assessment of offerings. Served as one of the library's Macintosh experts, as well as the liaison to patrons using personal files management software, such as EndNote.
  
GRANTS Seattle Virtual Libraries Consortium
LSTA-funded virtual reference consortium of Seattle Public Library, King County Law Library and the University of Washington Health Sciences Library, to provide reference services via e-mail and interactive chat. The project will provide triaged legal and medical reference to the general public and general reference assistance to customers of the law and health libraries, as part of the Washington State Library's Statewide Virtual Reference Project. Grant cycle: August 2002 - August 2003.
