Get involved in Faculty Research!

UW to involve more undergrads in basic
research ; Seattle Times,
Sunday, Sept. 28, 1997; by Roberto Sanchez
"....Increase the number of undergraduates who spend 10 or more
hours a week working with a faculty member on
research. Currently, there are 300 students who get credit or pay for
such work. The university wants to gradually raise that to 600
in the next eight years."
"I took a course in speed reading and was able to read War and Peace in
twenty minutes. It's about Russia."
