staff as our Career Resources Coordinator.
Kate will set up our career development and job information web sites both
for the Department and the Association of American Geographers. She will
coordinate these efforts with other relevant offices across the campus in
order to expedite and focus campus-wide career planning efforts and in
order to link learning objectives and class outcomes to the world of work.

General content areas of these workshops include: Memory/Memorization;
Reading/Listening/Notetaking; Test-Taking Skills/Dealing with Test
Anxiety; Time Management/Procrastination; and Stress Management.
If you have questions, comments, suggestions, etc., please don't hesitate
to contact the Student Counseling Center.
The Student Counseling Center is once again offering Study Skills
Workshops. Topics include Memory and Memorization; Learning from Your
Textbooks/Listening/Notetaking; Test-Taking Skills; Time Management and
Dealing with Procrastination; and Stress Management and Dealing Test
Anxiety. Workshops are one and a half hours long and are held at the
Student Counseling Center (Schmitz Hall, Room 401). Cost is $5 per
workshop. Students may call the Student Counseling Center for further
information or to register.
