Musts & Wants

A conceptual distinction between (e.g. location) requirements which cannot be compromised or substituted (musts) and factors which are open to bargaining or substitution (wants). In Kepner-Tregoe's The Rational Manager, the "wants" are ranked and weighted before entering the development of alternative action paths.
