Quality multiplier

Secondary effects resulting from learning, innovative activities and quality improvements of existing products or technologies. (Hayter, p.329; M.D.Thomas, 1969)

QUATERNARY & QUINARY (economic) ACTIVITIES:

A further disaggregation of that part of the service sector (business services) which is INFORMATION oriented into QUATERNARY activities (referring to activities which involve the collection, recoding, arranging, storage, retrieval, exchange, and dissemination of information) and QUINARY activities which emphasize the creation, rearrangement and interpretation of new and old ideas and information as well innovation of methods in data interpretation .
