Geography

In 1996 and 1997, the Department of Geography offered prizes for the Best Undergraduate WWW Document created by a Geography major.

1998 winner: Brad Alleman, for his own web site and for designing the web site for the UW Department of Community and Environmental Planning

In 1999, the prize was split between Shannon Dignon and David Cruzan. Both submitted strong academic page systems within their personal Web pages. Shannon's submission consisted of a GIS Portfolio, whereas David's included both GIS and Economic Geography individual and group work.

Ask your Geography Undergraduate Advisor about the competition for the year 2000.
