Sabiers" To: Economic Geography Subject: Re: geog450/bsabiers/week2 To all in geog450, My apologies for the late post(s), first, I generally tend to take a little while to get up and running so the beginning of the quarter tends to suffer. Second, I'm taking 19 credits as well as being involved in numerous outside activities which means I'm facing severe time constraints, which leads me to: The Blue List: I'm highly interested in Hagerstrand's time geography theory(ies) especially the componant relating to authority constraints(Goodall, pp.30/Johnston et al., pp.625). The Red List: In relation to my blue list interest, I would be interested in either, a local topic, for instance; looking at downtown vertical growth(that was capped by legal iniative several years back) or, a(n) (inter)national topic such as; a comparison between firms whose employees/countries have few legal travel/passport restrictions and those that do. If any of this strikes you as interesting and wish to collaborate on one of these topics, or something similar, Let me know, I'm always willing to search for some common ground. Ben Sabiers
