Last spring, the Economic Development Councils (EDCs) of Seattle-King County, Tacoma-Pierce County, Snohomish County and Thurston County united to examine issues affecting the competitive position of businesses in the Central Puget Sound region. Each of the EDCs represents a partnership between business and the public sector.
