I am a lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Washington and I received my Ph.D. in economics in 2008 from the University of California, Berkeley.  My areas of research interest include: health, demography, and international economic development, with a focus on Mexico, China, and the US.  I teach microeconomic theory and its applications.
