IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science - Nuclear Medicine Imaging Science Final Checklist and Author/Manuscript Information Your paper has been accepted for publication in the IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science - Nuclear Medicine Imaging Science (TNS:NMIS). Please use FTP to upload the final version of your paper to irl.rad.washington.edu Steps: 1. ftp irl.rad.washington.edu account: nmis passwod: mic05 2. Make a new subdirectory (e.g. "TNS-00080-2004") in the directory "/incoming" 3. Upload your files to the subdirectory. 4. Send me an email at kinahan@u.washington.edu to let me know the files are there, and I will move your files off the server. Note that the "/" directory is not writable and "/incoming" is not readable for security and privacy reasons. The files should inlcude 1. the final copy of the paper, 2. figures, 3. tables, 4. PDF version, 5. The author/manuscript information below as separate text file. Important: You will also need to submit an IEEE copyright form. Please do this electronically by going to the Manuscript Central web site (http://tns-ieee.manuscriptcentral.com), going to your Author Center, and clicking on the "Copyright Submission" button which is now available in the "Processing Status & Editor" area for this manuscript." It is also important that you separate the manuscript into its parts. If you use Word or some other standard word processing program to create the usual pdf file that we review, you should take that file and remove the figures and tables, and then move the captions to the end of the file. If another word processing program other than word is used, it would be safest to save it simply as a text file. Your paper will be reformatted by IEEE publishing services. The figures and tables should each be in individual files labeled appropriately: E.g. "Fig1a.tiff, Fig1b.tiff, Fig2.tiff, ...", etc.. The preferred format is TIFF. Postscript and EPS files are allowed. IEEE recommends 220 dpi for figure with images and pictures and 600 dpi for line drawings and tables. Please note there will be a substantial cost charged if you have included any color figures. Be careful of Excel plots. More detailed suggestions are available at: http://faculty.washington.edu/kinahan/TNS-NMIS/TNSformat.pdf Thank you for your contribution to IEEE TNS:Nuclear Medicine Imaging Science (NMIS). This is a key journal for the extraordinary output of the annual IEEE Medical Imaging Conference and for papers related to medical imaging using ionizing radiation. A summary of the new journal format was presented by Ed Hoffman and Paul Dressendorfer in the NPSS newsletter and is available online at: http://faculty.washington.edu/kinahan/TNS-NMIS/TNS-NMIS.pdf Paul Kinahan, PhD Associate Editor IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science kinahan@u.washington.edu ==================================================== FINAL CHECKLIST Are PDF and text versions of the revised paper included?
