Assignment
For this assignment, you will develop
a design template for your Web site and describe the planned content of
individual pages in the site. Use the following guidelines when constructing
your template:
-
If you are far enough in developing
content to know exactly how you want to divide the pages on the site, consider
making a “dummy” of each page
to evaluate the site’s navigation and overall look. On each of the
dummy pages, write a description of that page’s planned content.
-
If you are not yet certain about how
you want to divide the site, make
one page that demonstrates the design and navigation scheme you will
use for the site. On that page, describe the planned content of the
site.
-
Before you start creating your template,
reread the design plans stated in your proposal and draw out the design
on paper. By drawing the template, you can see if you will need to
use tables to organize your design. Drawing will also allow you get
a sense of the balance between images and text.
-
Do not forget protocols for naming Web
files (all lower-case letters and no spaces) when saving your template.
Grading
Since the purpose of this assignment
is to set your design and receive feedback on your planned content, I will
